Soccer!!!

Michael is finally old enough to start soccer! We signed him up for Soccer Tots, the team for the 4 and 5 year olds. He had 6 games to play on Saturday mornings. He was so excited and was counting down until it began. At the first game he got to go in for the first quarter.

He had a lot of fun running, with all the other kids, after the soccer ball.

At the end of the game, they all lined up and gave eachother high fives.

During the games, Rachael would play with the extra balls and go for walks with Daddy or Mommy. She didn't like to just sit and watch too much.

At the last game, he got to wear his yellow team shirt (they rotated between the yellow and plain white shirts.)

A lot of the time, he would stay back a little from the bunch of kids. We actually had to remind him to actually go for the ball. He eventually did get to kick the ball a few times.

For the last time, the team lined up and gave each other high fives.

Following the game, the kids lined up and were given a medal for their participation.

Michael was really excited about his medal and wanted to wear it all day.

Here is the whole team. His friend from Church's dad was the coach.

He then got his snacks and was ready to head home.

He really enjoyed playing soccer and continues to want to go play in the backyard. Now he is looking forward to swimming this summer.
